Really does bridge the gap between a bulky softshell and a hardshell. Crazy easy to open and close. Low profile on the roof, the cover has enough room to be able to store stuff underneath if need be, love the buckles rather than zippers or velcro. So nice not to have 48 spring rods to install or take down or extra fabric all over the place to flap in the wind. The only improvement for us is adding a 2" memory foam topper to soften things up. Stoked to be spending the summer in this thing!
I have a Adventure GS 49” and I love the tent.
I have to say the only thing I wish it came with is the ladder pads. I would say the the ladder hurts your feet as it is a aluminum ladder.
Everything of course is high quality and very well build.
I love my tent!
We are very pleased with our adventure 55 tent. The customer service was fantastic and the tent arrived when promised. Cheyenne in FSR’s shipping and receiving is great. Since the order I have had several question about roof racks and tent care and they have answered all of my questions thoroughly. If you are having doubts about ordering a tent from FSR I can tell you my experience has been great!
After many years of hopeful wishing I finally decided to pull the trigger on an FSR Adventure 55”. I’ve had 6 nights in the tent in the past 2 weeks and couldn’t be happier with it. The tent is comfortable, provides great panoramic views, ventilates well, and goes up/breaks down in no time at all. An unsuspecting feature that I really like is that the tent stays dark with all the windows closed so that early morning sun doesn’t wake me up. The staff at FSR we’re extremely helpful and promptly replied to any questions I had. The install was scheduled to take 2 hours in Bend however the team knocked it out in about 45 minutes. 5 stars all the way around.
