Love it

I could probably write for days about this tent. Just wrapped up a 6-day trip where the tent was really put through its paces. We got to see everything from rain, extreme Valley of the Gods heat and even a wind storm on the Snake River in Idaho. The High Country 55 is near perfect for our uses.

The only areas of improvement, I can think of, are as follows: a grab handle near the entrance would be nice. The user's ability to comfortably get in / out of the tent is, basically, determined by the length of your ladder. If its imperfect there can be a sizable gap between the highest usable rung and the door. As the tent sits now there is nothing structural to grab ahold of when the platform isn’t perfectly level. That brings me to my next point…..the ladder. The rungs desperately need halfway adjustment points. If you’re setting up on ground that is rocky, sandy, off-camber or whatever….you’re gonna have a bad time. The ladder supports and determines the users ability to level the front / entrance portion of the sleeping platform. We found that, on several occasions, the ground being off-camber leads to an off-level platform. With no ability to make fine adjustments with the ladder we found ourselves using rocks / wood to fine-tune it.

In conclusion this tent is, absolutely, worthy of five-stars. We drove to FSR and had the tent installed by some really awesome and HELPFUL dudes. Had a great experience on all fronts. Thanks, FSR!

Great Overland Tent for All Seasons

I have 2 different tents, Odyssey Premium and High Country Premium. My choice of RTT of FSR tents are the Best Choice I ever made. I have taken the tents to the Desert to High as 11,000 elevation with Gusty High Wind and Freezing Temp at 10- 20 degrees. Despite the various weather conditions, the FSR Tents kept us warm and stands strong. Highly recommend the FSR RTT.

Great camp !!

So far have only camped one time, but it is everything I was looking for in a camp, there is plenty of room inside, and is quite warm with the quilted fabric. Am looking forward to many new adventures in my FSR 55" High Country tent. Thanks FSR
