Well made tent. 20 mph wind didn't even phase it. Our family of 6 fit nice and snug the 80" way. The kids ages are 1,4,7,9 and my wife and I aren't very big. It was near or below freezing every night. We woke up every morning with condensation inside the tent even though the vent flap was open. On the 24* degree morning, we woke up with some condensation that had froze on the inside of the tent. This is our first RTT so I don't have anything to compare it too, but seems sturdy and well built. We purchased the black tent and with how big the windows are, I don't think it will be an issue keeping the tent cool in warmer weather. At 75* in direct sun and everything zipped up the tent started to get warm, but as soon as we opened the windows it cooled quickly.

Great tent in cold weather

Just took my 80" Premium High Country tent out into the mountains of southern Colorado for a night of dispersed camping. In a night that saw 10* F as its low and high winds at around 10650' of elevation, the tent slept well. The tent never went below 32* making our sleeping bags and blankets adequate to stay warm. Condensation was minimal as well. Set up and pack up was simple and quick, even when my hands were frozen. Never had a RTT before but I was impressed.

Excellent quality, quick set up tear down.

We have camped our High Country Tent several weekends now and we love it! We have taken it on and off the truck twice. It is heavy. Storing it is a bit of a challenge. But we love the tent and are 100% satisfied with the quality and appreciate how easy it is to set up and put away. Perfect size for our family of 4. Highly recommend FSR and the High Country 80 Premium.

Awesome RTT!

Our high country premium 80 is just sweet already have 3 trips in the books, including one very wet and stormy west coast beach camping trip! Solid and dry the whole time, kids love being up off the ground and even the wife is happy :) A family of 4 in one tent with all the bags and plenty of room (granted we aren't large people :)).

Great quality

We havent officially taken our RTT out for its first trip, but did sleep in it in our yard. We saw the high country premium at an expo a few years ago and finally took the plunge. They actually added an extra layer to the inside which confused us at first but makes the tent even better! I didnt wake up once from being too cold and the mattress was pretty comfortable as well. I will probably add an extra camping pad to my side but overall I slept great. The integrated light strip is convenient. The best part was that you can't see the light or shadows outside if the tent at all! Our family of 4 and 2 dogs are excited for all the adventures to come!
