ORDER CONFIRMATION

At the time of order, the customer is responsible for confirming their order before paying for and submitting the order. Please make sure the correct product and size have been selected. If the product on the order confirmation is shipped by FSR and the customer says the wrong product was ordered, the customer will be responsible for all shipping charges due to lack of confirming the correct product and size were selected at the time of order. 

SHIPPING

General Information
All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will notify you of the delay and when we anticipate the item to be back in stock.

Delivery Location 
Items offered on our website are only available for delivery to addresses within the lower 48 of the United States. We are able to ship to locations outside of the lower 48 but we will need to discuss with you any additional fees for shipping, etc. If you have questions on shipping outside of the United States, please email us at shipping@gofsr.com.

Delivery Time 
An estimated delivery time will be provided to you when your order is placed and in our system for shipping. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipping, rather than the date of order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, we make every effort to fulfill your order within 72 business hours from the date of your order. Business day means Monday to Friday, except holidays. Please note we do not ship on Saturdays or Sundays.

Date of delivery may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location, method of delivery, and the items ordered. Products may also be delivered in separate shipments.

Customer may be required to be present at the time of delivery or additional charges may apply. 

Shipping Costs
Free Spirit Recreation has free shipping on all small accessories that qualify. 

Shipping within the 48 contiguous United States is charged at a fixed flat rate based on your delivery zone, calculated automatically at checkout. Your exact shipping cost will be shown before you complete your order—no surprises, no guesswork.

This flat rate covers everything, including large items that ship via truck freight, such as bumpers. There are no additional residential delivery or lift gate fees. Whatever your zone rate is, that's what you pay—and in nearly every case, it's well below what shipping actually costs us. We cover the difference so you don't have to.

Additional shipping fees may apply to remote areas or very large or heavy items, please contact our office to discuss these situations.

Sales tax is charged at checkout according to the state, province, or territory to which the item is shipped. 

Damaged Items in Transport
If there is any damage to the packaging on delivery, contact us immediately at 720-370-8882.  Take pictures of any damage packaging and item.  Please have delivery driver note damage on paperwork.  You are able to reject delivery of your item if you feel the damage is significant or work with FSR on a solution.

We do offer Package & Shipping Protection as an option at checkout. 

Nature of Shipping Protection
Free Spirit Recreation ("FSR," "we," "us") offers an optional Shipping Protection add-on at checkout, powered by ShipGuard. This protection is provided directly by FSR and is not an insurance product issued by a licensed insurance carrier. It is a voluntary service commitment made by FSR to resolve eligible shipping issues, including loss, damage, or theft of packages in transit.

Optional Opt-In
Shipping Protection is an optional, paid add-on presented at checkout. By selecting Shipping Protection at the time of purchase, you agree to the terms set forth in this section. Customers who do not opt in to Shipping Protection remain subject to FSR's standard shipping and claims policies.

Coverage
When Shipping Protection is purchased, FSR will work to resolve eligible claims resulting from:
  • Lost packages (confirmed undelivered by the carrier)
  • Damaged packages (damage occurring in transit, supported by documentation)
  • Stolen packages (confirmed non-delivery after carrier marked as delivered)
Resolution may include, at FSR's sole discretion, a full or partial refund, store credit, or reshipment of the affected item(s).

FSR's Good-Faith Commitment
Regardless of whether Shipping Protection is purchased, FSR is committed to supporting our customers in the event of a shipping issue. Customers who experience problems with their shipment are encouraged to contact us directly. Resolution for unprotected orders is evaluated on a case-by-case basis and is not guaranteed.

Claims Process
To submit a claim under Shipping Protection, customers must contact FSR within [10] days of the delivery date with supporting documentation (e.g., carrier tracking confirmation, photos of damage). Claims submitted outside this window may not be eligible for resolution.

Exclusions
Shipping Protection does not cover:
  • Delays caused by carrier service disruptions or weather events
  • Packages confirmed as delivered to the correct address where no theft or damage is reported
  • Incorrect shipping addresses provided at checkout
  • Orders where the customer has initiated a chargeback or payment dispute
No Insurance Relationship
The Shipping Protection add-on is not regulated insurance. FSR does not act as an insurance agent or underwriter in offering this service. No policy of insurance is created by the purchase of Shipping Protection, and this service is not governed by state insurance regulations.

Refundability
The Shipping Protection fee is non-refundable once an order has been shipped, except where required by applicable law.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Due to the size of our products, our shipping and return policies differ from other retail and online suppliers.  Please read over this policy before you place your order.  We reserve the right to update or change these policies at any time.

CANCELLED ORDERS
Any cancelled order pre-shipping will be charged a 3.8% administration and processing fee. 

RETURNS
We accept returns up to ten (10) business days from delivery of the product.  The following applies to returns:

  1. Items must be unused, in the original packaging, and in sellable condition.
  2. Bedding and other gear must be in the original packaging and unopened.
  3. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs if they don't opt into Checkout+.
  4. There will be a 20% restocking fee of the total order applied before refund is issued.
  5. Shipping charge on the original order is non-refundable.
  6. Once the tracking number is created and the order is shipped, FSR cannot turn your shipment around. If you decide to return it, you are responsible for receiving the item and returning it by contacting us for an RMA number.

Orders placed as Local Pickup need to be picked up within 2 business weeks of being notified that your product is in our warehouse. If the product has not been picked up within the two-week time frame a storage fee of $50.00 will be charged to the customer.

    Exceptions
    Some items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. These include: sale items, promotional items, special or custom orders, returned items, used, clearance and damaged items.

    **Refunds do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by you. You are responsible for any loss or damage to hardware during shipment.
