I did a lot of research before committing to our Evolution tent. I have zero regrets on our purchase. The mattress that came with the tent is very comfortable and we can leave it in when the tent is down for travel. It takes just a couple minutes to pop the latches and raise the tent up. Also, our sleeping bag and pillows stay in the tent when we close it down for travel, so it makes it simple and fast to set it up and close down. We’ve used it with winds up to 75 mph on the rim of the Grand Canyon. The tent struts held strong and we had zero damage. We’ve also slept at 12,000 ft. Elevation at 20 degrees and was able to stay warm. Used the heater for about ten minutes to warm the tent and then shut it off and was fine all night. We’ve slept in torrential rains in Tennessee and had zero leaks or malfunctions with the seams and zippers. We’ve recently purchased upgraded struts to support the roof rack and will report back when we’ve used them. All in all a fantastic tent that has performed well in all kinds of weather conditions.
