Totally changed our ability to camp in the humid Southern summers. The combo of the Tri-Layer with an EcoFlow Wave 3 have meant we can keep the tent at 67 degrees and the Wave doesn’t even have to run continuously. Our UZJ100 also really appreciates the lighter weight and you can really feel how much better the handling is compared to our previous tent that weighed in at 250 pounds. So this set up is 150 pounds lighter in total and 6 inches shorter than before. Absolute game changer. The guys at FSR have also been top notch with customer service and being available to answer any and all questions.

I’ve had several tents over the years, and the Aspen lite XL has been the best without a doubt.

We love our Aspen Lite XL! It's an awesome RTT with high quality materials compared to others on the market. It's so spacious that we think we would have been fine with the standard size. We haven't spent too many nights in it yet but so far it's been very comfortable. I wouldn't go back to my Gazelle after having an Aspen.

Just a heads up for those on the fence like I was between the Lite or the regular Aspen V2. If I could go back pre-purchase, I'd buy the Aspen V2 and buy their awning brackets. Don't underestimate the difficulty in mounting a simple thing like an awning onto your roof rack when you have a tent on top as well. It's not easy! Sure, it's doable, but I'd far rather mount directly to the tent with quick release brackets than have to deal with mounting awning brackets directly to the rack again.

Now the not so nice part and reason for 4 stars not 5. What a pity that they didn't go with an angled steps ladder. Anyone weighing over 150lbs is going to feel it when the climb up and down the ladder which really sucks because there are other much cheaper in price and obviously quality RTTs out there that come with a ladder that has angled steps. Also, the fixed placement of the shoe bags which many others have complained about. Other than that tent rocks.Now FSR just needs to listen to their customers and get a better ladder and make the shoe bag placement optional like the ladder.

I really enjoy this roof top tent, I was on the market for a while doing my research and the biggest selling point for me was the weight - coming in around 100 lbs this had to be the one for me. The inside has so much headspace and the LED light inside is so bright! Overall, the people at FSR really put their research to work and it shows. The only thing I wish was that the shoe bag can be placed accordingly to where I put my ladder which is on the side.

Just spent 5 nights in my Aspen Lite Standard in Yellowstone NP, and I absolutely loved it! Temps were just below freezing at night - I did notice a very very thin layer of condensation on the interior, even with the top vents and top corners of the doors open, but it was gone by the time I’d get back to the campsite. It was very easy to setup and take down, and the mattress is very comfortable, even for a side sleeper! The only downside to this tent is that the shoe storage bags can only attach at the back of the tent, which might work fine for some vehicles, but the design of the crosstrek wilderness doesn’t allow for using the ladder at the back. Overall though, I’m really happy with the aspen lite and definitely recommend it!

The team at FSR were amazing, they helped lift the tent onto my rack and gave me suggestions for the best way to attach the tent to my rack. The tent is super easy to set up and is amazingly comfortable. Especially the air mattress. During the winter the diesel heater ports will be very much appreciated. The tent is very well designed and extremely well made.

Amazing products, lightning fast shipping

The Aspen Lite XL is without reservation the best RTT I've owned. The insulation keeps us very comfortable in low temperatures, and surprisingly also keeps the tent comfortable in the morning sun that typically turns other tents into a greenhouse.

We love the integrated dimmable light and storage panel, they make the tent feel organized and spacious. Would highly recommend picking up a pump to inflate/deflate your pad to make pack up easy.

I checked out a lot of other RTT's and after reading all the positive reviews for FSR, I decided to go this route. I was going to go with another company that is really popular, but there were a number of bad reviews of their costumer service. Best about FSR vs others: 1) I schedule a phone appointment, and they answered all my questions, 2) Ordering was easy and painless, 3) Received my RTT in a timely manner, 4) Had questions about some things with installing and setting up my Aspen Light. I connected with costumer service several times by phone and email, and they were very helpful in getting me set up and on the road with my new RTT. That right there is monumental, IS COSTUMER SEVICE, and they did not disappoint!

Amazing tent!! Kept me warm throughout the cold 40 degree summer nights in the Colorado mountains! Lite enough where I don't even feel it on my truck driving! Looks amazing and keeps the sunlight out in the mornings so that I can sleep in. I am 5"5 and I think it fits just right for me. If you are any taller I'd recommend testing it out at HQ in Golden prior to purchasing. Overall a great tent with high quality material, very happy with the tent! I love everything about this tent. Easy to set up and take down. Super comfortable with the air core mattress and warming blanket. The lights on the inside are so convenient along with the gear storage on the roof and corners.

The Aspen Lite on my Subaru Crosstrek is awesome! Super fast and easy setup anywhere you want to camp for the night, weekend and more. I highly recommend it!

Me and my wife love our Aspen Lite we spent every night the first week we got it and that’s saying something because my wife gets cold very easily and with that Tri Layer material it’s amazing we can’t get enough of it and the tent is light we hardly know it’s on our 4Runner and aesthetically matches and adds to that look we like, we’re gonna be breaking ground to new adventures and new camping locations while showing our little ones a different way of camping haha

The Aspen Lite has everything I’ve been looking for in a RTT. The third time really is a charm! I liked my two previous tents, but they didn’t suit all of my needs. I downsized from a Roofnest to an Inspired Overland, which was too small. The Aspen has the perfect footprint and inside comfort. It’s cavernous inside.

Prior to Aspen Lite, I have owned the Odyssey and the High Adventure Tents. They were all good for cold and hot weather. Aspen lite is same Tri-layer makes it comfortable inside with black out. I like the design of high ceiling and makes the tent inside roomy. Best of all, I can mount the tent all by myself.

Love the look & feel of the high end materials used. The lights on the interior and storage spaces on the interior of such a small light weight tent are ingenious. Will not make my SUV feel top heavy.
