Freespirit's mounting hardware kit makes installation a snap with sure grip rubber coated u-mounts that fit any style of cross bar up to 3 1/2" wide and 1 1/2" thick. Please note, the sliding plates included in this kit are only for newer models of hardshell tents. For thicker cross bars simply replace your 2" M8 hex head bolts with longer ones.

The mounts have very long screws
The hardware can be a bit big depending on the with of the rack you use.
Would recommend different length screws and heat resistant rubber strips.
The heat resistant strips can prevent it from sliding and help with the size difference. Once i added those to my mounting, it was rock solid!
