Concept seems good. Keeps thieves thinking that they don't just have to cut the bolts with a small pair of bolt cutters and be gone with your tent in a matter of moments. I got the off road set which contains 8 mounts 16 hex heads that easily work with the existing hardware for my FSR Kali. The one thing I will say. The socket that comes with the nuts is not a deep well. So you'll have to use a wrench or channel locks to tighten. So one hand trying to hold the socket on and the other hand to turn the wrench. Deep well socket FSR. I did recommend to a friend but told him I'll hold the socket to make his install a lil easier 🤘🏻

I love my new FSR hard shell tent that sits on top of my pick-up bed. While it is very heavy, I was concerned that the fasteners could be easily unscrewed and 4 guys could potentially lift off the tent. I was pleased to find that FSR had security nuts available to minimize the threat of theft!

These should be standard nuts that are given with every RTT! I’m glad I got these because now I feel a little better about leaving my tent on my truck. A RTT is no cheap investment so these are well worth it. Very happy with my purchase.
