Love these versatile lanterns. Besides the tripod feet, there is a standard 1/4" thread for mounting to a tall tripod, and it is magnetic as well. Even the included hanging lanyard can be clipped to the top or side, and the metal cage protects the light fixtures, which is dimmable. The tripod feet can also be stowed very cleverly within the cage.

Bright!!

This thing lights up the entire campsite. Dims for what you need but if you want to find that bottle top you just dropped then light it up! Very well built with lots of metal and not a lot of plastic.

First Impressions are good!

First off yet to camp with it. However taking out of the box and playing with it shows good promise. Metal legs are a nice touch. Controls are intuitive and easy to manipulate. Its not going to light up the countryside but its intent for use was to hang from our EVO2XL as a porch light, which appears it will work perfect for.
