Nova King - Rooftop Tent
Nova King Rooftop Tent: Full-family sleeping space. Minimal roof footprint.
The Nova King was built around a problem most family-sized tents ignore: a 72" wide sleeping area shouldn't require a tent that takes over your entire roof. Closed, the Nova King sits at just 42" wide by 78" long — compact enough for an above-cab rack or a full-length SUV roof rack without consuming it. On a roof rack, that leaves usable space alongside or ahead of the tent for the rest of your build. Fold it out and it becomes a true 72" wide by 82" long sleeping space — 3 to 4 people, zero support poles, under a minute from latched to lying down. Same no-compromise formula as the Nova Standard, scaled up for the rigs and groups that need it.

Incredibly easly to install on my Backwoods Adventure Mods Drifter bed rack on my tundra. Followed the videos on how to put it up and take it down and it was very accurate. The King is big so flipping it open is not the easiest but think that after setting up and tearing it down a few times we’ll get a process down.
Amazing tent. I own the Hub 4 Double as well and the materials are what made me purchase this tent. Tent is warm, insulated and comfortable. Super easy to set up. Camped out at a desert lake in high winds and didn’t bat an eye all night. Did a great job of insulating noise as well.
Absolutely great tent! It’s incredibly easy to set up on the go and sleeps perfectly. It checks every box for what I wanted in a rooftop tent. I can't wait to put it through its paces on a two-week road trip through Alaska this June!"
I’ve used other tents in the past and this one is by far my favorite, lots of room, fast setup and tear down, mattress is comfortable, and fairly light, I was able to get it on my truck by myself. And the blackout material inside the tent is amazing, highly recommend
By far the best tent ive had, the quality is top notch, perfect size and super comfy! Highly recommend
After the price reduction it was an easy choice. It came in pretty fast and was an easy install. Took it out camping at Yosemite and worked perfect. Perfect size for a short bed below the cab set up.
Great new pricing made this a no brainer over similar offerings. This form factor worked out perfect for my application. Packaging and delivery was top notch.
I bought mine from the fsr in Denver. Ryan actually helped me install it. Killer customer service and the tent is built like a tank. Room for 4. It’s the perfect tent on my Jeep gladiator
We had pre-ordered our tent with a very helpful sales team at their warehouse in Golden. We had checked out all their tents in the showroom, which was very helpful for comparison reasons. We ended up purchasing the Nova. We have used it twice already and are very happy with it. The finishes are definitely top-tier in quality. We quickly realize you get what you pay for. Their air core mattress that comes with a tent is extremely comfortable. 100% would recommend this tent for anyone who is in the RTT market!
This good: the tent has a small footprint and is light enough to not make my rig topheavy. The aircore mattress is plush and comfortable. Spent a night in a torrential downpour and stayed dry all night. The "blackout" feature allowed me to sleep a solid 13 hours, well into daylight! This tent is easy to set up and has plenty of little pockets for small items.
The less good: if you are 6'+ be prepared to touch either end of the tent. It takes forever to dry. The tent sits in a "tub" and water can run/wick between the waterproof tent floor and the tub floor which is challenging to completely dry out. Packing the tent away requires a bit of stuffing of the material back into the shell, especially the support wires.
Overall I am happy with the quality of the tent and it performed well in inclement weather. Drying it out will be a challenge in the spring in OR. I stayed comfortable in near freezing temps with a just a blanket.
