Hub 4 Double Tent
HUB 4 DOUBLE — 72 square feet. The elongated basecamp.
Perfect for: Base camp setups · Groups of 4–8 · Cot-based sleeping configurations · Overlanding trips where space-per-packed-volume matters
The Hub 4XL gives you a square footprint. The Hub 4 Double gives you a rectangle — and that distinction matters more than it sounds. At 72" wide by 144" long, it's the layout that actually fits two rows of cots, a table down the middle, and still has room to stand and move. Same Tri-Layer insulated walls, same pull-tab deployment, same 3" stove jack — but in a 12-foot-long floor plan that turns the Hub into a genuine base camp shelter rather than just a sleeping space. All packed into a 54" bag.
Features:
- 72" × 144" Elongated Floor Plan The rectangular footprint is the defining feature. Two people can set up cots along each wall with gear organized between them. A table, chairs, a stove — it all fits without feeling like you're working around the tent. At 72 sq ft of floor space, it's the layout camp kitchens and base camp setups are built around.
- Pull-Tab Deployment Same quick-deploy hub system as the 4XL — four pull tabs release the structure, and the integrated front door drops into position. No separate pole assembly beyond the three poles that support the door frame. As one owner put it: "they thought of everything in this tent."
- Tri-Layer Walls & Door — Insulated, 100% Waterproof The roll-up walls and integrated door use FSR's patented Tri-Layer construction — polycotton fill sonic-welded between two waterproof layers. Insulated where it counts for three-season comfort. The ceiling uses a removable rainfly for weather protection; pair with a wood burner through the stove jack for cold-weather capability.
- 3" Integrated Stove Jack A built-in 3" ceiling port lets you run a wood burner or cooking stove safely inside the tent — the feature that earns the Hub 4 Double its place on multi-night cold-weather trips.
- Removable Floor & Rainfly Both are optional and removable, so you configure the tent to the conditions. Pull the floor for wet or sandy sites, drop the rainfly for weather, or leave both off for a shade structure on a clear day.
- Integrated PVC Window & Blackout Panel A clear PVC panel in the door gives you light and a view when it's closed. An interior blackout panel zips over it when it's time to sleep.
-
Dimmable LED Light Strip Included Built-in dimmable lighting — already in the box, no separate purchase required.
Compact Pack for Its Size At 63 lbs packed into a 54" × 17" × 15" bag, the Hub 4 Double delivers a 144"-long shelter from a bag that fits across a truck bed or in the back of an SUV. That's the value proposition in a number.

1. Integrated PVC window
A clear PVC panel is built directly into the front, letting in natural light and giving you a view of the campsite without unzipping. When it's time to sleep, an interior blackout panel velcros over it to block light completely. One panel, two modes — no separate cover to lose or fumble with in the dark.
2. Integrated zipper door
Full zipper door for unobstructed access to the interior. Roll away and secure the door for easy access in and out.
3. Quick-pull tabs
Deploy the quick pull tabs and your covered. Integrated bug mesh for an immediate screen house or roll down your walls for an insulated experience.
4. Removable rainfly
Depending on the weather – the top of the Hub is weather resistant. At any time if the weather gets serious you can secure the rainfly for ultimate protection.

Bought this to use with our teardrop TT which has a FSR RTT on it. So we knew the quality would be there. Exciting when it arrived Immediately unboxed in our carpeted basement. Went up easy. The back screen panel has a tear in it. Box was fine. Contacted CS and they suggested we purchase a screen repair kit from Amazon. Sort of bummed on a new unit that couldn't have been damaged with up popping it up in our basement. Very easy to breakdown, even easier than set up. Got the repair kit to fix the hole. Looks bad having a dark square in the middle of the screen. :( Overall happy with the purchase. Looking forward to using in next month
Fast set up! Everything about this tent is perfect. I do wish there were a way to post the rain fly up instead of rolling it up, being able to roll up the sides more than makes up for it though, it's so nice to have a breeze coming through on a warm day. Thank you FSR for the comfort!
While this is easily the most expensive tent I’ve ever bought, I think it could be priced ever higher. They thought of everything in this tent from the sturdy zippers to the removable floor. Even going as far as to include a dimable light switch for those late nights and/or early mornings. This was my first experience with a hot tent and I was very impressed with how this tent kept my buddy and I warm. Looking forward to many more adventures in the hub 4 double all year round!
The tent overall is very easy to set up. The tent spikes and **** anchors are long and very sturdy which helps secure the tent properly in soil and even in the snow. The 3-inch diameter port in the ceiling was a nice touch for those who want to run this with a heater, however the biggest drawback is only the window covers are insulated, but the rest of the tent (especially the ceiling) is not insulated like you would see in ice fishing hub tents so cold-weather insulation is poor. This causes the snow to melt on the roof when running a heater and freezes which is not good for conserving precious fuel and also makes packing up extremely difficult. I was planning to use this tent year-round but instead will just be a 3-season tent. The storage bag carrying strap started to come apart on mine when I lifted it with one strap instead of two. The overall build quality is good but will need to wait until after the winter to continue using this tent before I can provide a more accurate review.
My Irish Wolfhound, Alfie, and I just returned from our first camping trip with our new HUB 4XL. My setup time is an official 4 minutes 8 seconds without putting on the rainfly or floor. I shot a video of it - pretty funny to watch how I fumble with it and still can set it up in under 5 minutes! There's a ton of room, the build quality is off the charts, and it was easy to keep it plenty warm on a cold Michigan night. Thanks FSR!
Perfect for my needs. Easy setup for a novice like me.
easy up, easy down, versatile, stylish, I LOVE. that it's all black with classy logos, seems well made and designed. . . .really wish my 2024 model had the door side that opened all the way up like previous models.
Easy to set up, quality craftsmanship. Great addition to my overlanding/camping gear.
I love this tent. It works perfect.
The walls and roof material are great with the tri layer. The floor already got caught and snagged a small hole in it when camping. I wish the flooring was a little more durable compared to the rest of the tent. An extra layer of material to bulk of the flooring would make this a 5 star review.
Excellent product and customer service!
I’ve taken the tent camping twice so far for a total of four days. It seems to be very sturdy, simple to use, and not physically challenging for one person to set up. I have the HUB V2 and car connect that I use behind my truck with a camper shell. It is very easy to heat in 35°-40°F. I haven’t tried it in cooler weather yet. Nice Tent!
The quality of this tent is very nice, exactly as described. Very versatile for different use applications. I initially set it up during a decent rain storm and it stayed completely dry while I was applying the waterproof cover. The water ran off of the 3 layer material like beads. I have a tent stove and it heats the tent right up and keeps the heat in. Plenty of tent securement with the provided stakes. I am going to use it for cold weather camping in Northen Michigan. I give it 5 stars, no complaints. FSR products are top notch.
Awesome! Set up possible in 5 mins or less.
Tent kept us warm in the 50 degrees area with out the need of heater for my wife or 4 year old. 4 star just because at 8x8 is kinda small but great products
Will buy it again for my older boys 9&11
My boyfriend & I recently got the Evolution V2 RTT. After being happy with that investment we decided we would stick with the same company for our camping needs.
We got caught in the rain the first day in our Roof Top Tent and we quickly realized we need a hang out spot for situations like that.
The fact that this is so versatile. I was in! Our spoiled baby (4 year old American Bully) now has his own tent as well.
We have used it twice. Once at the lake on a sandy area and camping. WeLOVE it so far. We did not have anyone sleep in it on our first use simply used as a hang out spot while camping.
My only con is I wish it was bigger! I’m
hoping they come out with a bigger version of this that connects to the Evolution V2 RTT. Until then zero regrets on this investment! This city girl is going camping again this weekend and looking forward to it!
As this is a new product we couldn't find much about it and took a chance on ordering it as it looked like it would be a match for our wants. So glad we did! The quality is absolutely amazing and the setup/tear down a snap. A little heavier than we would have liked but, certainly not a show stopper for us. The versatility as a tent or relaxing screen room is a perfect design and adds to our uses. Our overlanding or RV excursions have a new dimension of enjoyment now and we're sure it will be used on every trip from here on out.
Love the new hub tent, Really spacious and comfortable. The 3 layer fabric is a game changer also like the ability for the door to open completely. Some other style hub tents are hard to get in and out of.
Only had a few nights in the tent so far but it has been great! Switched from the odyssey 49 back to ground tent in order to set up camp and then go exploring. Temperature got down to low 40s and it was perfect inside the tent. Love the fact we can roll up the sides during the day to get a lot of air flow inside! Would highly recommend it. Freespirit did a excellent job on this one!
While I have never used it on a camping trip yet I did set it up in the yard the day I received it. From my first impressions, I like it. It seems to have a lot of cool features. I really like how you can zip it down to the mesh for more airflow. All around it appears to be high quality really like the heavy-duty zippers and I love how they included a led light inside. Looks pretty durable can't wait to use it just waiting on my truck to get out of the body shop.
Wish it wasn't so heavy, there are no roof vents so it traps a lot of heat. The bag is larger than needed so packing isn't too difficult. I would have like a 3 way splitter for tge 3 led strips that come with it or gave linkable strips. They are 3 individual usb led trips. Appears to be good quality including the traps, hardware and stakes.
Camping in it as we speak great product well built & much warmer than the gazelle
Best and most durable ground tent there is. Sets up super fast. And take down is just as fast if not faster.
Quality and function of the tent is amazing. I am very impressed with how easy and fast I can set up the tent. My family and I will make great use out of it.
I bought this tent primarily for cold weather application as it has solid top and keeps heated space warm inside with running heater. Though we used it as gazebo to spend time in the evenings and dinner for privacy and warmth. Never used rainfly and solid too kept inside dry in light drizzle and morning due here in the southeast
Quick and easy set up and take down
Loved it..original order was actuLly damaged from shipping, it was absolutely no hassle replacing the tent. They were very helpful and understanding. The tent itself is awesome.
Very good quality, super quick set up and take down. Very happy with my purchase!
Can't wait to try it..... HEAVY
