The 270 and 180 V2 awnings mount to your rack rail and cover the side of your vehicle. The Tailgate Awning solves a different problem: it mounts directly off the rear of your FSR hard shell rooftop tent or rack and covers the space you're actually using — your tailgate. Three straps, no poles, and a 30 lb pack weight make it the lightest, most purpose-specific awning in the FSR lineup. If your camp life revolves around the back of your truck, this is the one built for it.

Three Straps. No Poles. Unzip the cover, release three straps, and the awning is deployed. Freestanding design means no ground poles, no guy lines, no setup routine to learn. Tie-downs and stakes are included (and recommended) for windy conditions. 

Dual Mounting Options Mount off the rear of your RTT for direct tailgate coverage, or side-mount to a smaller SUV or crossover for lateral coverage — useful when a full-length 180 V2 is more awning than the vehicle needs. 

600D Oxford Ripstop — Waterproof The same 600D Oxford Ripstop fabric used across the FSR awning lineup, with a PVC exterior cover for protection when packed. Built for rain, not just shade. 

Integrated Dimmable LED Lighting USB-powered dimmable lighting keeps your tailgate area lit after dark. Battery bank sold separately.
