At a mere 7" tall, the Odyssey gives adventure-seekers the most streamlined hardshell tent on the market. 4 adjustable latches secure the two aluminum honeycomb frame shell pieces together.
The sonic-welded Tri-Layer fabric keeps you warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, while wicking moisture away from the fabric.
A thin light strip is nestled overhead your sleeping quarters to quickly illuminate your entire tent when needed. It powers via USB type A, and Velcro's away for easy replacement.
Logan really helped in making the decision to buy a Freespirit Rooftop Tent. I am looking forward to getting out this spring.
Great process front to back…bought the Odyssey on sale, yet they tacked on a little extra love for veteran/first responder status. Very kind of the FSR crew. Shipment arrived quickly, well packed, and everything intact. Super simple to set up (went on a Tundra with a bed rack similar to Yakima), well built, quality components and very happy with the purchase. Money well spent.
Purchased this unit to add an “upstairs” bedroom to a Vorsheer XOC. Fit is perfect with space for awning to operate. Previously used a Tepui, which was difficult to pitch because zippers on cover were difficult to access. The cover also covered one trailer door. The Odyssey has clamps that are easy to reach on one side of the trailer and no cover to deal with. We supplement the mattress in the tent with an air mattress for extra cushioning and its comfortable. The low profile keeps the tent down out of the wind and we don’t see any impact on gas mileage. The fit on the overhead rack is close to perfect and the pitch is fast and easy.
Amazing tent. Great features, super easy to put up and take down.
Guys at the shop in Denver we’re great help!
This changes the whole camping experience and opens up more opportunities with an off-road vehicle. We have only been out once so far but more trips planned this summer. Logan was super helpful and took the time to explain what differentiates FSR from their competitors. All the folks at FSR were great to work with, I only had about 9 inches of garage clearance to play with so I went with the hard-sided Odyssey model and it works great for me.
