The rainfly did not come with instructions, however we just paid attention to how the old rainfly was attached and had few issues. FYI- There are a ton of velcro straps holding the rainfly on and it was a bit difficult to get to the top ones since the tent is on our lifted truck, but we made it work. Overall we are really happy to have the more unique look and material is just as good as the original that came with the tent
