If you're searching for one of the best tents for group or family camping trips, meet the Hub 6XL – the largest tent in the FSR Hub lineup. Designed for extended stays, large groups, or cozy glamping getaways, this spacious tent makes your time outdoors as comfortable as it is memorable.
With over 120 square feet of interior space, fully removable Tri-Layer walls, and a built-in stove jack, the Hub 6XL is more than just a place to sleep. It's a basecamp built to handle whatever your crew throws at it. Whether you're camping with the whole family, hosting friends, or setting up for an extended overland trip, this tent gives you the freedom to spread out and settle in.
Panoramic windows bring the outside in, letting you take in the views from wherever you set up camp. Whether you're waking up to mountain views or winding down under desert skies.

Designed for the Whole Crew
When you're camping with a group, space is a necessity. With a massive 121-square-foot footprint and a peak interior height of 80 inches, the Hub 6XL easily fits 8 or more people.
Measuring 164" x 164", the floor plan is ideal for families, glamping setups, or multi-day group trips where space matters. The setup is simple despite its size, thanks to the same pull-tab system used across the entire Hub tent lineup. Just pop each wall and the roof in place, and you're almost done. Add in the three poles to structure the integrated front door, and you're ready to go.
When it's time to pack up and hit the road, the Hub 6XL packs down into a travel-friendly bag measuring 73" L x 16" W x 15" H. Just make sure your vehicle is up for the job: it fits best in mid to full-size SUVs or 6.5-foot truck beds. It can work with smaller SUVs if the seats fold flat.

Open Up to the Outdoors
One of the biggest standouts of the Hub 6XL is the fully removable Tri-Layer walls. As the only Hub tent with this feature, it gives you complete control over insulation and airflow. Keep the walls in place for cold weather, or remove them entirely on warmer trips to maximize ventilation.
Not only is the Tri-Layer material great for insulation, it also helps block out early morning sun, so you can sleep in a little longer at camp. Each removable panel easily secures using two hooks at the top and bottom, helping keep things aligned as you Velcro everything into place.
With the walls removed, you'll be left with oversized windows on every wall, designed to let in natural light and take full advantage of the views around your campsite.
FSR Pro Tip: The Tri-Layer walls will already be Velcroed in when your tent arrives. For a quicker setup next time, we recommend removing the walls before packing the tent back into the bag. That way, the pull tabs are visible and easy to grab - no fishing through the window openings when setting up at your next site.

Stay and Play Longer
Hub 6XL includes an integrated 3" stove jack that allows you to safely run a wood-burning stove or camping heater inside the tent. If you're huddled up for a chilly winter trip or setting up a true glamping experience, this feature gives you the flexibility to stay warm and stay longer. It's perfect for families with young kids, late-season campers, or anyone who wants their basecamp to feel a little more like home.
Pair it with the removable Tri-Layer walls for a cozy, insulated setup that holds heat efficiently and keeps out the cold. From snow-dusted mornings to late-night card games, the Hub 6XL is ready to handle it all.

Other additions include a fully integrated front door that provides easier access for loading gear in and out of the tent. The removable floor Velcros in 6" off the ground to help prevent water intrusion and keep your space dry, even in wet conditions.
Plus, with more interior storage throughout the tent, everyone has a place to stash their gear and a dimmable LED light strip that can be placed at the back of the tent or at the front of the tent, wherever you need light at night.

The Group Tent That Does It All
When it comes to finding the best tent for group or family camping trips, the Hub 6XL checks every box: massive interior space, fully waterproof, cold-weather insulation, and thoughtful features that make camp feel like home. Whether you're overlanding with the whole crew, planning a multi-day festival setup, or glamping off-grid, this tent is made to handle it comfortably.
